A woman seeks a new identity through the contents of another woman’s bag. Pamela has found a shoulder bag that belongs to Marianne a successful career woman, someone Pamela aspires to be like. Pamela also yearns to break free of her controlling mother. As she talks to her Mum at a hospital bedside, Pamela decides not to return the bag or the contents and dreams of a new life – until she delves more into the lives of Marianne and her partner.
