Absolutely, we are a listing site and not a publisher. We recommend you check to make sure all other sources are happy with you listing the script in question through us.

Yes you can. Basic customer information is provided via the Writer's Portal. From there, you can see what type of licence was purchased, the name of the company / group, the planned performance date, and a website (if applicable).

| 9. As a WRITER, do I have to be British? |
Nope. Provided you have a Paypal account you're fine. However, we only pay royalty fees in GBP. Any foreign transaction fees from Paypal will be charged to the writer.

Great question! Simple answer. Use a good sharp colourful image. Have an engaging Synopsis for the reader. Make use of all five tag words on offer. This will give you a huge advantage. With each tag word used, you're boosting your chances of being seen in searches.

| 13. As a WRITER, do my scripts need a picture? |
All scripts submitted MUST include an image. For copyright purposes, you should own or have permission to use images submitted. Ideally it should be in portrait format (height greater than width). However if a landscape (where width is greater than height) picture is submitted, we will crop accordingly. We suggest you use a production still if you have one available. If not, you may obtain artwork or photographs that represent your script respectfully from other sources, such as royalty free websites. You may even produce these yourselves.

| 14. As a BUYER, can I purchase more than one script at a time? |
Absolutely! When you add a script to your cart, you have the option to 'Continue Browsing'. Your cart is saved throughout. When you're ready to pay for your scripts, simply go to the 'Shopping Cart' at the top and proceed to checkout. You can also make amendments to your potential orders, such as delete or change the number of performances required before completing the checkout process.

| 15. As a BUYER, how do I purchase a script? |
All our scripts provide different licences. All you need to do is choose the desired licence and under the 'Performances' column, you put in the number of performances you plan on producing. The only exception is Licence A (if available), where you would only need to put in one (1) performance. Click 'Add to Cart', proceed to checkout, where you will be prompted to log in (if you haven't done so already) or register (which is free), and you will then find a form to fill in relevant information about your purchase. Tick the 'Agreement' section, continue and confirm your order, and you will be taken to our PayPal payment section. You do not have to have a PayPal address to pay, PayPal allows you to pay safely without registering. Once your payment has gone through, you should be able to go to 'My Account', and there under 'Purchases', you will find a download button. Voila, now you can print off as many copies of the script as you desire!

| 16. As a BUYER, do you only use British Pounds (GBP £) as a currency? |
We are a company based in England, but by no means are we limited to the British public. We have alternative currency displays, for USD ($) and Euros (€). Just choose your desired currency from the drop-down box at the top of the website. However, when you do make a purchase through PayPal, if you pay in dollars or euros, they will be converted to GBP. The currency displays are there to help you judge prices better.

We won't stop you from contacting a writer, or vice-versa. If you cannot find a link to a writer's website, blog or social networking link, you can ask us to contact them on your behalf.

If you have a PayPal account, great, it's one of the most widely used methods of online payments, as well as one of the most secure. It's completely free if you're not registered. However, you can still make a payment for your script without having to register with PayPal. Refer to question 14.

Of course not! We have had buyers from all corners of the world. We only have 3 currency displays, but this doesn't prevent potential customers buying from other countries, and subsequently producing plays in their respective countries. We embrace multiculturalism, as our writers come from all over the world too.

| 20. As a BUYER, what does Licence A represent? |
Licence A is strictly for workshop and read-through purposes only. Not all scripts have this option available, this is up to the writer's discretion. However, with Licence A, you will not need to input a figure over the number 1 in the performances column, as you are not technically performing or selling tickets to the public. When you purchase and download a script under Licence A, you will notice it will have a watermark on every page, as a security measure to make sure you are using it under the appropriate licence agreements. Spot checks can be made by either ourselves or the writers if they feel this licence is being abused.

| 21. As a BUYER, why do you sell performances and not number of scripts? |
There's a simple answer for this. We don't sell hard copies of scripts. We provide digital downloads. As we would not be able to control how many copies you print off, it is more logical we charge scripts per performance, rather by how many copies of a script you need. This means, you can print off as many copies as needed, and only pay for the number of total public performances. The only exception is if you buy under Licence A.
