Re: ASM Review Shortlist - August 2010

Congratulations to you four: Remember to send us all feedback on how big (or small) a surge of interest the ASM promotion gives each of you. Good luck. Art

Re: ASM Review Shortlist - August 2010

Was there ever a July issue of Amateur Stage Magazine?

Re: ASM Review Shortlist - August 2010

Dear James Grob

As a writer who had his play shortlisted in July I am beginning to think that perhaps Amateur Stage Magazine is a figment of somebody's imagination. Despite promises I have never been informed of the result nor have I been able to view or download a copy of the magazine. What is the story here?

Re: ASM Review Shortlist - August 2010

Hi guys,

We'll be discussing your concerns with AS Magazine in due course. I'm a little baffled myself if being honest, I think there has certainly been some confusion with their issues. I'm not entirely sure.

Unfortunately, they are completely independent to PS, so we're as much out of the loop as you.

Re: ASM Review Shortlist - August 2010

Hey P.S.,, It looks I got a sale. What now? Does this mean they wil just do a read-through or a read-through with an eye toward production. And where's my money? It ain't much, but hey, times are hard. LOL. James Studdard

Re: ASM Review Shortlist - August 2010

Hi James,

Congrats on the sale, but as it is a License A, at the moment it's only for read-through purposes. As this buyer has also bought 3 other scripts under License A, it might be possible they may choose 1 to put forward for production.

All the best.

PS: Just a kind reminder to post replies or topics under the appropriate categories in the forum. Many thanks.

:)

Re: ASM Review Shortlist - August 2010

Regarding the ASM Reviews, we have stopped these for now, for reasons beyond Production Scripts' control. AS Magazine have had their own complications, so for now we have stopped shortlisting scripts for reviews. We hope in the future we can provide this feature again.

Thank you everyone for understanding.
