About the Writer George Freek's play NOT 2B won the Nancy Weil New PLay search for 2008 sponsored by firely Productions in Burlington, VT. his short play YOU SHOULD ALWAYS SPEAK YOUR MIND is being performed by the Lourdes College Drama Socity in their April One Act Festival. His script AFTER GODOT was produced by the Auburn (NY) Community Players, the Chagrin Valley (OH) Little Theatre, and he East Haddam (CT) Stage Company. It is also included in Smith & Kraus's Best 10 Minute plays of 2009. His play ANTARCTICA is also included in the Best 10 Minute Plays of 2008 and BLUEBEARD in the Best 10 minute Plays for 2007. He has also spent playwriting residencies at Southern Methodist University and Southern Illinois University.
