THE GREAT GATSBY
THE GREAT GATSBY
Written by John Dwyer
This classic American tale is set in 1920’s New York and brings to life the age of jazz, speakeasies and decadence. The story revolves around the mysterious Jay Gatsby whose determination to win back Daisy Buchanan, the woman of his dreams, leads to his ultimate downfall. F. Scott Fitzgerald’s tragic love story, so full of hope and promise, is also a cutting commentary on the darker side of human nature and is still as relevant today as the year it was written.
