About the Writer Marius Benta (born in 1971) is a journalist and bilingual writer (Romanian and English). He worked with various broadcasting stations in Cluj and Bucharest (Pro FM, BBC, Radio Guerrilla, NCN TV), and studied Sociology in Romania and Ireland.
Marius writes fiction, mostly short stories and drama. His texts in English were published in Versal, Absolute Write, Fly In The Head, and Local Minds.
Two of his plays ("The Assassination of the Marquis de Sade" and "Someone's Knocking") were staged in 2010 at Cluj city's National Theatre (Euphorion Studio) by directors Olivér László and Dorin Boca. The same year, he had his first book (a collection of three plays and a monologue in Romanian) in print with Bybliotek Publishing House.
