It’s a hot afternoon in an unnamed city. Two strangers meet in a dilapidated café. One, a gruff looking Man, and the other, a Woman who owns of the café. As the two converses over coffee, the world around them doesn’t seem quite right. Gunshots and rioting are heard amidst emergency sirens outside. The Woman reveals her past to the Man, which is shown through flashback scenes of her life with her loving Husband and Son. The past and present weave together as one becomes increasingly volatile, and the other, progressively hopeful. As times moves forward to an inevitable catastrophe, the two people, who met by random chance, want nothing more than to watch the “sunset.”
