Depressed and unable to move, Laura, 20's, has been sitting on her porch swing for eight straight hours when her tenant Gregory, 20's, comes home from work to tell her he’s moving out because the night before her boyfriend slashed his tires. Though Laura and Gregory have more than their share of emotional inertia, they connect in comical and sweet ways that may change their lives. (20 minutes). "Five More Minutes" was produced at the New York City Fifteen Minute Play Festival, American Globe Theatre, April 2005 and by the Algonquin Theatre, New York City, July, 2008. The play was named a semi-finalist in the First Stage LA One Act Play Contest, 2006.
