This play was written for a group of children in a drama class. The story is based on a Russian folk tale concerning a potter who makes pots for Tsar Ivan the Terrible and in so doing fleeces and humiliated the greedy Baron. There are nine main characters plus an indeterminate number of dancers and musicians so all members of a large group can take part.
